Despite the flashy moves we do, our style of flogging isn’t just about showing off. The way we throw floggers is all about repetition and consistency. We use the analogy that it’s like putting someone through a car wash. Maintained long and hard enough, the impacts can become hypnotic, and that’s how we lull our bottoms into subspace.

Our style of flogging is thus dependent on three vital elements:

  • Accuracy: striking at the exact spot we’re aiming for.
  • Precision: striking the same spot over and over again.
  • Rhythm: striking in a consistent and repetitive pattern.

Learning to spin floggers accurately, precisely, and rhythmically requires a ton of drilling. To accomplish that, we place a weighted meditation pillow on top of a stool. And then we aim to hit the exact same spot over and over again, while shifting the pillow as little as possible.

This is how we build control, and it’s always easy to add more power once we’re able to be consistently delicate. And the best part is, the pillow will never go to red, no matter how sloppy we get.
