We’re heading to Los Angeles for DomCon next weekend, where I will be teaching two flogging workshops. Here’s the full workshop schedule, and below are the descriptions for my two classes.
I’m also available for private lessons, and both of us are available to negotiate impact scenes as well, so hit me/us up if you’re interested!
Flowing with Finger Floggers
Friday, May 29th, 3:30 pm, La Jolla Ballroom (fitting for a San Diegan, I suppose?)
Flogging isn’t just about beating up on someone. It can be an art form – rhythmic, sensual, and sexy. This workshop will introduce you to a unique style of flogging rooted in both flow and martial arts, using finger floggers as your primary tool. You will learn how to break free from the confines of traditional handled floggers and wield finger floggers in ways that are physically impossible with any other impact toy. The class will cover basic and advanced moves, as well as the core skills of accuracy, precision, rhythm, and efficiency.
If you don’t have your own finger floggers, we’ll have extra sets for rent and for sale during this class. Word on the street is that ARC Impact Leather will also be there with chain finger loops extensions for sale! (Click here for more info on finger loops and overall finger flogger construction.)
Florentine Flogging: Getting Past Your Stuck Points
Sunday, May 31st, 3:00 pm, La Jolla Ballroom
Have you taken a Florentine class, but still struggle with it? Maybe you learned four-point, but can’t figure out six-point? Or maybe you’re new and learning it for the first time? In this workshop, we’ll focus on the specific aspects of Florentine that most people get stuck on. You’ll learn exercises to help you get these movements into muscle memory and flog smoothly and accurately. For the advanced flogsters, the exercises we cover can be done in reverse, so you can learn how to strike upwards instead of downwards. Please bring a pair of floggers of any handle type.
