When M and I first started out, the only understanding we had of kink (if you could even call it an understanding) came from movies like The Secretary.
Domination … submission … intense … serious …
And so, when we first started out, that’s what we aimed for, because that’s all we knew. That’s how we thought kink was supposed to be.
But then, as we became more comfortable with our own kinky practices, our true selves started seeping out.
Smiles … laughter … silly … playful …
Over the course of several years, we learned that kink doesn’t have to be serious or intense. It doesn’t require an exchange of power. Kink can be whatever you want it to be (as long as it’s consensual between all involved parties, of course — that is the one requirement).
Today, we love to embody the “play” in impact play. We love to embrace the delicious contradiction in beating up on someone, and we’re all smiling the whole time.
Because we’re doing exactly what we’ve all enthusiastically consented to beforehand. And because, when it comes down to it, we’re all having fun. (And maybe you caught the update to our website homepage to reflect this.)
These photos are from our performance at Folsom Street Fair 2026. We had fun up there …

With thanks to Ms Thidia for playing with us that day, Shadow Saint Photography for so vividly capturing the fun we were having, and Twisted Windows for producing and Kink3D for sponsoring the Bondage Stage.
